Message from the Director-"We are Conquerors"“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly” (John10,10)
Vincentian retreats are formed to help the people of God to grow in their faith as to receive the salvation given by Jesus. Our preaching’s and teachings are based on the Word of God and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Word of God is Jesus Himself. (John1,1). Hence every Word has got life and spirit. (John6,63). Our retreats help a person to grow in life especially in times of a death culture and to immerse oneself in the Holy Spirit especially in times the evil spirits that distract to destroy, steal and kill a person(John 10,10). Pope Francis affirms the existence of devil and his traps. Pope speaks about three stages of attack; First “the temptation begins subtly but then it grows and increasingly grows stronger”. Then “it infects someone else … it spreads to another and seeks to take root in the community”. Finally, “to calm the soul, it seeks to justify itself”. In short: it “grows, spreads and justifies itself”((by L'Osservatore Romano, Weekly ed. in English, n. 16, 18 April 2014). We are not losers but conquerors in Christ Jesus. Vincentian retreats help you to be conquerors(Romans8,37).

CONSECRATION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
O Mary, Virgin most powerful and Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven and refuge of sinners, we consecrate ourselves to your Immaculate Heart.
We consecrate to you our very being and our whole life; all that we have, all that we love, and all that we are. To you we give our bodies, our hearts and our souls; to you we give our homes, our families, our country. We desire that all that is in us and around us may belong to you, and may share in the benefits of your motherly protection.
And that this act of consecration of ours may be truly efficacious and lasting, we renew this day at your feet the promises of our Baptism and our First Holy Communion.
We pledge ourselves to profess courageously and at all times the truths of our holy Faith, and to live as befit Catholics who are duly submissive to all the directions of the Pope and the Bishops in communion with him. We pledge ourselves to keep the commandments of God and His church, in particular to keep holy the Lord’s day. We likewise pledge ourselves to make the consoling practices of the Christian religion, and above all, Holy Communion, an integral part of our lives, in so far as we shall be able so to do.
Finally, we promise you, O glorious mother of God and loving mother of men, to devote ourselves wholeheartedly to the service of your Immaculate Heart, in order to hasten and assure, through the sovereignty of your Immaculate Heart, the coming of the kingdom of the Sacred Heart of your adorable Son, in our own hearts and in those of all men, in our country and in all the world, as in heaven, so on earth. Amen.
